Hey everyone! I'm hoping someone here might have a solution for me. While I was redoing some wiring on my Jeanneau, I took apart one of the cabin light switches and a tiny metal contact tab popped out and disappeared. It was about the size of a match head and served as a bridge between the terminals.
Of course, I can't seem to find the original piece, and I'm not even sure where the switch came from since it was already in the boat when I got it. I checked a few local marine shops for a replacement, but no luck there.
Has anyone replaced these older-style switches with modern ones? Or found a good source for small contact pieces like this? I'd really like to avoid having to rewire a new switch plate if I can.
Appreciate any suggestions
