Ultra Anchor for Sun Odyssey 410

A friend of mine is looking to upgrade the anchor on his Sun Odyssey 410 and asked if I knew whether the Ultra Anchor fits properly under the factory fiberglass bowsprit. I haven't worked with that combo before so thought I'd ask. Any feedback from owners who've done this swap? Fit issues? Performance impressions?

Yes it does, but it's a tight squeeze under the factory bowsprit, some had to tweak the roller or mounting a bit. That said, it performs really well and most say it sets quick and holds solid.

Yep, the Sun Odyssey 410 does come with an integrated fiberglass bowsprit, and several owners have successfully mounted Ultra Anchors without major fit issues. Just make sure the shank clears the roller and that the fluke size matches your setup.
